| View Show | Create Your OwnLocation The airport is located about a quarter mile East of Highway 75 north out of Okmulgee, OK. Downtown Okmulgee is about 3 miles south of the airport. Just go South on 75 to 6th Street and turn East to see historic downtown Okmulgee. With events happening all year long, you never know what you may find in historic Okmulgee. Motels and Restaurants
The Best Western Motel is about a mile south of the airport on 75. Two other motels, the Bel-Air (918.756.2713), and Days Inn are about 4 miles south on 75.
Many restaurants are sprinkled along Highway 75 as you go South. The downtown area and the 2000 Center also have cafes and restaurants.
Downtown
Downtown Okmulgee contains many historic buildings of interest including the Creek Council House. Local businesses of all types are located around and near the "square," which house many local festivals during the year. The movie theatre plays 1st run movies and is housed in the beautiful historic Orpheum building. The area has several fine antique and gift stores that you really don't want to miss.
2000 Center Located 5 miles south of the airport on highway 75, the 2000 Center has Wal-Mart Super Center and other businesses located in this shopping center.
OSU-Okmulgee

Lakes and Parks Nestled in the heart of Oklahoma's Green Country, Okmulgee has two fantastic lakes just a few miles from downtown.
